Pool Closure, Carry Over, and Resolution
A pool closes strictly when its predefined duration expires.
At closure, the protocol evaluates the total number of entries in the pool. If the total number of participants is below the profitability threshold of eleven, the round does not resolve immediately.
Instead, all existing entries are automatically carried over into the next pool of the same tier. No rewards are distributed and no randomness is requested in this case. Participants retain their positions without submitting additional entries or paying additional fees.
This mechanism exists to protect participants from unprofitable outcomes and ensures that any eventual winner is net profitable by design.
If the number of participants meets or exceeds the threshold, the pool proceeds to on chain randomness resolution and winner selection.
